a presidential pie-eating contest

Good morning. I didn't get to bed until almost 12:30 AM because the debate party ran a little longer than expected, and then I ran frantically around the house looking for MacTaylor (my iPod), which I had to sleep without last night and didn't find until this morning. And I had to get up at 6:30 AM today because Dad was taking me to school early. I wish I could skip all my classes today and just sleep. Tomorrow should be better.

It's drizzling right now (not a lot of fun to walk to classes in, nor is it romantic), and MacTaylor played a string of emo indie music. Cheer up, little iPod! Even though it going to be a long and boring day, it's the day of Wednesday Night TV!

writer's block.

I'm supposed to be in English right now, but I decided to skip. We're writing an essay on beliefs in class today and I am just not in the mood to sit in class for an hour and write. Luckily there's a make-up day in a few weeks, and I can do it then. I'm exhausted from the lack of sleep last night and all I really want to do right now is go home and sleep. I'm kinda sad that I'm not at a real college where if I don't go to class I can go back to my dorm and sleep for a few hours.

(Speaking of "real college", guess who's not coming to the Transfer Fair at the end of the month OR making a transfer visit to the college I'm currently at? YEAH, THAT WOULD BE THE UNIVERSITY I'M PLANNING ON TRANSFERRING TO NEXT FALL. And I had to actually call and them a request another admissions packet on Friday because they apparently didn't get the request that I sent in a few months ago. WTF, FUTURE COLLEGE?)

I've been watching a lot of Sports Night via YouTube between classes. I know, 10 years too late, but I was only 8 at the time! And close to moving to Europe! Plus, I didn't even know about Aaron Sorkin's greatness until my sophomore year of High School. But now that I've watched a few episodes (7 so far), I absolutely love it. It's so distinctly Sorkin: the writing! the requisite character named Danny! AND JOSHUA MALINA! OMG, he's so young and geeky but adorable nonetheless. And Jeremy/Natalie is so OTP. I need icons of this.
