highest highs and lowest lows
Sep. 20th, 2008 01:15 pm- I did absolutely nothing of importance yesterday. I stayed in my pajamas nearly the entire day and watched an insane amount of TV. And I re-read The Choice (because Mommy was nice enough to buy me a copy from Costco on Thursday) in about 4 hours. No homework got done yesterday, which is a shame because I have a lot to do. Luckily I'm going to be home by myself tonight (without any worthwhile TV or DVDs to distract me), so hopefully it'll get done.
- Watched a few more episodes of The West Wing last night with Graham and Dad. Both thoroughly enjoyed it, and Graham asked me if the 7th season is some kind of ironic foreshadowing to our current election. I don't think it was planned out that way, but if what happened at the end of season is true in reality, then John Wells is some kind of secret genius.
- Our computer is one step closer to being fixed! In fact, I'll be surprised if it's not up and running again by the end of the week. Both Dad and Graham have been working tirelessly on it. We've got Windows back and everything, and now it's just a matter of file recovery. Graham has retrieved all of Mommy's old emails, so that's a pretty good sign that all of my stuff is intact. I'll find out more when I get home.
- EMMYS TOMORROW NIGHT, YAY. And then TV premiere week begins on Monday. I've been seeing all these previews for various shows and they're making me all excited.
