Took my first Government exam earlier today, and I think I did okay even though I didn't study for it at all. Luckily there were extra-credit "current event" questions taken from the Newshour summaries that I'm pretty sure I got correct, so that should boost my grade a bit. One of the questions was about Scott McClellan's book claiming the Government spied on a famous politician, and one of the choices was Sarah Palin. I laughed and got weird looks from the people sitting next to me. I guess I'm just used to her being the butt of jokes lately.

HIMYM was incredibly heartbreaking last night. I honestly can't believe that Ted hates New Jersey so much but is willing to move there after he marries Stella (who, btw, DOESN'T LIKE STAR WARS). See? more proof that Stella isn't The Mother. (Relatedly, I thought Lucy was younger, like 5 or 6. Apparently she's actually 10 or so. I don't understand it at all.)
AND BARNEY. Oh, Barney. That look he gives Robin when she tells the group she got a new job and is moving to Japan? IT SERIOUSLY BROKE MY HEART. I can totally see him going to the airport and preventing Robin from getting on the plane in any way possible and then confessing his love for her. Or something. I JUST DON'T WANT MY BROTP TO BE BROKEN UP, GUYS.

I'm attending the debate party tonight, but there's only three people attending: me, the person hosting, and one other person; that might get a little awkward. Plus I'm an elitist when watching things on TV, and now I only like things on a big screen and in HD because that's what I'm used to here at home, so I don't know how that's going to work out. I did decide not to participate in the phonebank tomorrow just because I don't want to randomly call up strangers and tell them to vote for Obama. I'm just not that type of person. But I am getting my Obama t-shirt later this week (hopefully, I can't understand the UPS online tracker), so I can support him that way.
And I absolutely love these photos, especially the last one. He's looking more and more presidential everyday.
