I woke up this morning at 7:30 (the earliest I've woken up this summer) in order to watch Matt Lauer trace his roots on the Today show. Then I watched The Hills (totally pointless, as per usual), ate breakfast, and when back to bed for 4 more hours. Yeah, I slept until 12:30 in the afternoon, which is such a rarity for me, even when I don't have school. And I'm still tired.
But I painted my nails black for the first time EVER today, and they look awesome. And tonight I'm hitting up OfficeDepot and the library, because that's about exciting as it will get while I'm on break. All my friends are away at college now and it's just so weird to be the only one NOT at school. I'm just that excited to start.

Michelle Obama's speech last night at the Convention nearly made me cry. I'd think she'd make a wonderful First Lady. And the Obama daughters are absolutely adorable, especially the younger one. How cute is it to see a girl constantly tell her father she loves him?
Tonight we'll see Hillary, which will be interesting because she'll be talking about how great Obama is while there's a petition circulating on the floor to put her on the ballot. Honestly, I don't think it's going to work; Obama's the Democratic nominee, not Hillary.
Also, how awesome was Ted Kennedy? He looks quite well despite what he's going through.
I just really miss Tim Russert. He would of absolutely loved all of this convention stuff.

I just read some spoilers for The Office that made me both excited and incredibly depressed. Why does September 25th have to be so far away? (I know that it's only a month away but it seems like much, much, longer.)
