Positives of the SAG Awards:
- It's for actors, by actors, making it a very high honor.
- My favorite actors from my favorite shows will be there (The Office! 30 Rock!).
- The Red Carpet!
- It has nothing to do with the WGA strike, so it will still go on, but I'm sure there will be lots of solidarity.

Negatives of the SAG Awards:
- There is a DILEMMA in picking the Male Actor in a Leading Role, Comedy Series. The three major nominees are Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell and Jeremy Piven. I thought that Piven's role was a supporting role, not a leading one, but he's a great actor. And between Alec and Steve, and I love them both and they do such a good job.
- Seeing these actors will depress me, because even though I'll see them on the Red Carpet, I'm not going to see them in whatever show they are in, due to the strike. IN SHORT, IT WILL MAKE ME MISS THE OFFICE THAT MUCH MORE.

My brain, like [livejournal.com profile] delgaserasca's, is apparently in solidarity with WGA. Which is good, because I'm totally with my fellow writers (even if they can write a lot better than me) but also bad, because it's both breaking my New Year's resolution and giving me nothing to do over these months.

I have roughly 700 words left to write for [livejournal.com profile] picfor1000, but I think I can only get maybe 100-200 words more out of it. That's totally fine with me; I just wanted to write, and I think I knew going into it that it wasn't going to be 1000 words. Not sure how the challenge will react. I've got another few weeks, maybe something will come.

Will totally be doing drabbles now, because lots of words just don't seem to be coming.

Can you tell I'm bored and can't sleep and am trying to avoid doing my homework? Because I am.
