mydarling: (newyork / ain't no other man)
Last night was my last new Wednesday TV crime night for awhile. BUT.

I'm quite intrigued by the fact that Dexter will be shown on CBS starting next month. Although I realize that it was on Showtime (so it was rated TV-MA, so I technically can't watch it, even though I'm of legal age to do so), I know it's going to be edited considerably to be on CBS. This being said, should I tune in? Is the edited version worth watching? Die-hard fans are saying no, it's not, but I want to hear what you guys think.

(I like crime shows and CBS is Crime Show Central, so it seems like a good fit. Last night during CSI:NY, they had a commercial for it and called Dexter "Mac Taylor without restraint". IS THAT NOT THE PERFECT THING FOR ME?)

And if you guys say no, don't tune in, you're gonna have to rec me a book or something. I'm going to drive myself crazy only having 3 new episodes of House and American Idol to watch. I've already gone crazy with not having new episodes of The Office to watch. I've started watching old-school episodes of NCIS (with Kate!), and that has seemed to help, but I need a permanent solution. STUPID STRIKE.

(Although The Colbert Report from Tuesday, with the singing tribute? LOVE.)
