This was probably the best weekend ever for me. I didn't do anything super exciting, nor did I really go anywhere (just to the library and church), but it was great. I wasn't super-stressed over school things, like I had been, but I was incredibly zen about them. My anthropology exam was incredibly easy, even though it was open book; and the essays went surprisingly well this time around, meeting the three-page requirement with a normal size font and just a mere 150 words under the 900 word limit (last time, I was only at 400 words or so and got severely marked down, and it was only two pages with a large font.) So I'm confident I'll do well, which is awesome, since I really need the boost to my grade - I'm at a 76% right now, and I'd like to get it up to something more acceptable by the semester's end so things look good for Grand Valley.
I did not, however, work on my English paper today like I planned. Lack of motivation, I guess. But I re-printed an article I need, and I plan on writing out a brief outline later. I pretty much know what I'm going to say and how I'm going to say it (thanks, Wikipedia!) but it's all in my head and I'm procrastinating typing it out, as usual. So I'll do it tomorrow, it won't take long, and I'll have it done by the time class starts. It's only a rough draft, so if it totally sucks I'll be able to revise it. I just get credit for bringing in drafts and having them looked at classmates, so. I hope it goes better than it did last time.
Other things that were awesome about this weekend: homemade pizza. Doing laundry. Nice enough weather to take a walk. Wearing my new flats. Receiving my Amazon order on Saturday afternoon. Reading George Stephanopaulos' book All Too Human. Watching the new episode of Law & Order UK on my iPod.
Too bad I have to go to school tomorrow.
